Flash on the season of breeding 2000
Some photo and some consideration of selection and
genetics on the reproductive season as soon as passed, the reproducers and changed and
ancestral, obtained novels, in my breeding.
The reproducers were constituted from a sure number of ancestral
subjects, of the
Subspecies Carduelis c. tschusii (variety is of plain that of mountain) and the
Subspecies Carduelis c. major (of which, finally, they are successful to obtain
the reproduction in a common gabion from 90 cm), some braces of Pastel, Agate, Satinč and
Yellow. In particular, the nominal Species (Carduelis carduelis c.) and
the ancestral Subspecies ( Carduelis c. maior and Carduelsi c. tschusii, these
last ones represented in the same photogram), are not never between of like a half-breed
they, that with the obvious attempt of preservare the purity is of the nominal shape that
of the Subspecies, avoiding the obtaining of intermediate mestizos and therefore of
insufficient value is aesthetic that selective.
Of all the opposite one the Yellow mutation appears the inherent speech, where the remarkable size and above all the reduced one loads feomelanica with the Subspecies Carduelis c. maior it stretches to dilute the lipocromo excessive yellow, with unpleasant and muddling final effect fenotipico decidedly. Based on my selective, better experiences it turns out to you fenotipici obtain when in the Yellow mutation they take part subject of medium or small ransom.

fenotipiche characteristics, which lipocromo yellow homogenous, clean template and very
Finally, some word on the fascinating Satinč mutation: from the connection between male bearer of Satinč for female Agate, I have obtained some male (50 % of the males) Agate bearer of Satinč, assisting therefore in my small breeding to the important phenomenon of the multiple Allelomorphie (verification when determining " locus " chromosomic it can be occupied from two or more Alleli various). The males Agate bearers of Satinč reveal a phenotype Agate for the dominanza of the gene of the Agate (gene of the " dilution") on the gene for the Satinč. Such phenotype Agate is but ulteriorly reduced regarding the classic phenotype of the Agate in how much the gene of the Agate reveals " a partial " dominance on that one for the Satinč, which the design of the Agate equally succeeds to softly express an effect on the phenotype reducing further on.
In the photo, Goldfinch male Agate bearer of Satinč phenotype
appears Agate for the dominanza of such gene on the allelico gene for the Satinč. Such
phenotype, but, appears ulteriorly reduced respect to an Agate classic, above all in the
feomelaniche zones. The eye, to the birth, appears red until the fifth sixth day of life.
To dumb aim, I promise my self to insert new such photos of splendid
